chemainus dollar geocaching
 Geocaching is essentially a treasure hunt which uses a GPS to locate the coordinates of a hidden cache of treasures. Cachers of all ages eagerly pursue these hidden treasures, registering and tracking their finds on a global website, www.geocaching.com. Geocaching has a dedicated following that spans the globe. Travel Bugs are special items that are often part of the treasure trove. Using special tracking numbers they can be followed on their journeys all over the world. The Chemainus Monetary Foundation hid and published it's first Geocache on August 25th 2011. Within a week 3 geocachers found the hidden treasures!
