robin courtright/secretary & treasurer
Robin Courtright was born in Rocky Mountain House, AB and moved to Vancouver Island in 1990. She graduated from Cowichan Secondary School in 1996 and started her career with Coastal Community Credit Union in October of the same year. Robin started out as a teller with Coastal Community Credit Union and worked her way up the corporate ladder to her current position of Assistant Manager, Member Services. Robin has taken many courses through the Credit Union – including Coaching and Mentoring programs – extensive sales training, as well as Leadership development training.
In her spare time Robin volunteers with the Cowichan Search and Rescue Association. She is a trained GSAR member and recently started training with the high angle rope rescue team. Robin enjoys camping, hiking and walking her dog and, in general, getting into the great outdoors. In her quiet time she enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Robin has been at the Chemainus Branch of Coastal Community Credit Union since June of 2008 and has loved getting familiar with the Chemainus Valley and its residents. Through a positive relationship with Coastal membership and community, the opportunity to become involved with the Chemainus Monetary Foundation (CMF) arose. Robin was approached to become a member the Board and, in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer, joined the CMF in October of 2009.
